Connie is a dedicated team member who has been an integral part of Duet for almost five years. Connie works at Duet’s Endeavors day location and helps by filling in at many residential homes. With a heart full of genuine love and joy, she believes in being the best version of oneself and building a close-knit, family-like atmosphere. Being an advocate for others, helping them reach their full potential, and promoting independence are very important to Connie and part of her life that she takes a lot of pride in. Her sincerity and infectious smile create a positive impact, fostering an environment of growth for the people Duet supports. Connie enjoys doing anything active with the people we support, with a couple of her favorite activities being visiting Lauritzen Gardens and exploring Chalco Hills Recreation Area.
Despite her degree in business management, Connie discovered her true passion is caring for others, prompting her to shift her focus and career entirely. Outside of work, Connie keeps busy with her four fur babies and is excited for her mom and sister to visit from the Philippines soon. She lives by the motto, "Be your best, even when people aren’t watching."
